Comedienne Giselle Sanchez triumphed over other stars last week to become the first weekly winner of “Clash of Celebrities,” the newest segment of “It’s Showtime” that pits celebrities against each other.

Last Saturday (Sept 5), a confident Giselle stood out against her rivals as she beatboxed and danced her way to become the first contestant qualified for the segment’s grand finals.

In “Clash of Celebrities,” celebrities battle against each other by showing a skill or give a kind of performance they don’t usually do.

Some of those who bravely stood up to the challenge were Jovit Baldivino, who performed a hiphop routine, Mitoy Yonting, who sang both the male and female parts of a song à la “doble kara,” and Kris Lawrence who impressed in his folk dance number.

Based on data from Kantar Media, the said episode garnered a national TV rating of 14.4%.
