Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino will teach TV viewers the importance of learning to accept defeat this Sunday (August 23) as ABS-CBN’s “Wansapanataym” airs the story of “Cocoy Shokoy.” In the “Wansapanataym” episode, Paulo will portray the role of Cocoy, a young man who is used to winning, especially when it comes to love and his favorite sport, swimming. When a new student arrives in their school, Cocoy abuses the magic necklace given to him by a merman in order to maintain his popularity and winning streak in the campus. What will Cocoy do when he transforms into a merman because of his overweening attitude? Will he finally learn to be humble and accept his loss and mistakes? Also in “Cocoy Shokoy” are Coleen Garcia, Jovic Susim, Janus del Prado, Cai Cortez, and Amy Nobleza. It is written by Joel Mercado, and directed by Darnel Joy Villaflor.
