KathNiel’s First Kiss on TV, to Break the Internet?

Last night (August 20), James Reid and Nadine Lustre trended worldwide when they had their first kiss on national television via the “Kasal Kasalan” episode of the primetime teleserye “On The Wings Of Love.” Their characters–Clark Medina and Lea Olivar–got married as part of the latter’s ploy to avoid deportation but every wedding requires the groom to kiss his bride and the inevitable happened. Reid kissed Lustre on the lips, their first on national television!

Because of that scene, the hashtag #OTWOLKasalKasalan became a top trending topic on Twitter Philippines and it even penetrated the worldwide rankings.

If JaDine had their first screen kiss on TV, KathNiel will not be left behind. And because of last night’s frenzy, fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are now anticipating the very first screen kiss on their idols. But is it possible?

I think it is. ABS-CBN’s adprom manager Mico del Rosario, who’s been promoting “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” daily on his Instagram account, hinted of the highly-anticipated KathNiel kiss:

KathNiel fans believe the Instagram post pertains to the much-awaited kiss of Yna and Angelo, the characters of Daniel and Kathryn in “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.” If this happens, it’s going to be a potential attempt to break the internet.
