CBS debuted the new trailer for the highly-anticipated TV series “Supergirl” starring “Glee” star Melissa Benoist.

Aside from the presence of Superman, Supergirl’s famous cousin, other DC characters are expected to appear in the show’s first season like General Sam Lane, Red Tornado, and a Kryptonian villain named Non according to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. He also said that contrary to rumors, the show will never cross-over with CW’s “The Flash” and “The Arrow.”

The superhero TV series also stars Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott.

“Supergirl” is set to premiere on Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
