GMA Network has released the teaser for their new “Marimar” with Megan Young for the titular role. It’s another adaptation of the most-loved Mexican telenovela in the 90s following the 2007 version which launched the career of Marian Rivera in superstardom.

Tom Rodriguez, on the other hand, will portray Megan’s love interest “Sergio.”

The new “Marimar” is set to premiere August 24 on GMA Telebabad.
