History fans are in for a treat as hit docu-series “History with Lourd” returns with a brand new season starting tomorrow (Saturday), July 11 at 10:00pm on TV5.

For its season premiere, Lourd takes viewers back to the year 1947, putting the spotlight on the history of the controversial Spratly Islands, to introduce viewers to the alleged founder of the Kalayaan Island Chain – Filipino adventurer and fishing magnate Tomas Cloma.

The pilot episode chronicles the journey of Tomas Clomas, starting when he first discovered the uninhabited islands of Kalayaan. Lourd will uncover some never-before-heard facts and historical explanations about these now highly-disputed islands. Lourd will also be explaining why these islands are valuable to the entire international community.
