Now on its 4th year, Cebu Pacific’s JUAN FOR FUN BACKPACKER CHALLENGE returns and brings bigger and newer adventures. Starting June 23 to July 1, 2015, five teams composed of fun-loving students are given the chance to explore and experience an exciting new adventure.

“In each Cebu Pacific Juan for Fun Challenge, our student teams get to experience a lot of ‘firsts’. It can be their first time on a plane, in a new destination, being responsible for itineraries or travel budgets, or traveling with friends. It’s what makes the challenge memorable and meaningful for everyone involved,” said Cebu Pacific VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

MAXIMIZED FUN

Truly the ultimate backpacking adventure, Juan for Fun 2015 promises more surprises and thrilling challenges this year. Each group is tasked to have as many fun experiences and discoveries with a budget allowance of $250 and Php 35,000.

This year, these young backpackers’ epic adventure starts in celebrating “Thainess” with their first stop in Bankok, Thailand. This is followed by a more interesting twist in the competition as these young travelers are given the chance to have their Choose-Your-Own-Adventure trip to go anywhere they like in the Philippines. The activity culminates in Davao on July 1, 2015.

“We send off this new batch of adventurous young Juans with the freedom to explore Bangkok and this beautiful country of ours,” Ms. Candice shared. “We hope this encourages more young people to think of travel and within easy reach, if one is bold enough to go for it.”

PRIZES AND SURPRISES

Awesome prizes awaits the winners such as 12 round-trip tickets to any Cebu Pacific International or domestic destinations, three Canon Powershot SX600 cameras, three Ssmsung Tab 3 Lite tablets courtesy of Smart Bro and P 30,000 worth of gift certificates from Boreas travel gear.

The group that would be able to maximize their given budget, have the most fun activities, and have the highest rank in special fun challenges, will be named the Juan for Fun 2015 Ultimate Backpackers.
