Edutainment becomes more exciting and fun-filled as Hi5 Philippines airs on TV5 with an all-Filipino cast. Starting June 15, 2015, Hi5 Philippines will air on weekdays at 8:30 a.m. Hi5 Philippines is the local version of the Award-winning Australian children’s edutainment program.
The Hi5 Philippines cast includes Gerard Pagusan, Aira Binas, Rissey Reyes, Alex Reyes, and Fred Lo are set to bring a Hi5 House Party in each household. This talented quintet interact with kids in a bilingual way – English and Filipino, inviting the young audience to sing and dance with them as they perform the show’s iconic songs and valuable lessons.
The dynamic Hi5 Philippine cast boasts of extensive backgrounds in the performing arts and will channel all those creative energies to engage with children in terms of music, imaginative games and role-playing, social interaction, and developmental growth in a fun way.

For the first time in Asia, where the Hi5 franchise assembled an entirely new cast for the localization of the show, it is proud to know that this is only one of the only two cast, one being the Australian cast.
Hi5 in Australia was launched in 1999, were it rapidly grew in popularity over the years. To date, Hi5 have won 3 Logie Award for Most Outstanding Children’s Program, 5 ARIA Awards for Best Children’s Album, and 5 Australian DVD and Video Industry Awards, among other Achievements. It was then that this musical group started expanding its reach via franchising the show across North America, Europe, Australasia, Latin America, and Asia.
