Variety, RealScreen Announce Myx TV’s 2015 Programming Line Up

Myx TV, the country’s only English-language multicultural Asian American entertainment network, is getting significant press for its exciting 2015 programming line-up.

Industry entertainment bible, Variety, and other notable media entertainment industry sites like Multichannel News, RealScreen, Cynopsis, Broadway World, Rapid TV News, and even The Sydney Morning Herald hailed the renewal of “Bagged,” a dating show in which contestants wear masks to take appearance out of the dating decision-making, and new series “The Doll Life,” a spinoff of last year’s docu-series “I’m Asian American and…,” which will follow designers and models of the Japanese living doll clothing brand, Dolldelight.

“Eat Your Words,” where amateur food bloggers who negatively review restaurant dishes online have to come up with their improved versions offline, has also been renewed and will return on August 16. “Bagged” will return on June 25, and “The Doll Life” will premiere on October 20.

Another original series, “Call to Cosplay,” already premiered last May 12.

“We’re bringing back our most well-received, out-of-the-box, original series and, for the new season, making them bigger and better,” said Miguel Santos, Myx TV general manager, in a statement. “Viewers can look forward to better costumes, crazier scenarios, bigger sets http://variety411.com/us/los-angeles/sets-stages/_blankand more interesting characters.”
