The Philippines continued its dominance in the regional talent show Asia’s Got Talent as opera singer Gerphil Flores was voted through to the show’s grand finals. To date, 4 Philippine acts are vying for the coveted title and $100,000 cash prize: Gerphil, girl with guitar Gwyneth “Gwen” Dorado, shadow theater group El Gamma Penumbra, and street dance group Junior New System.

The four Philippine acts will face grand finalists from China, Mongolia and Japan, plus two more will be voted this Monday for a total of 9 acts vying for the coveted title to be held next week at Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
