Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is Miss Universe Philippines 2015
Pia, a Star Magic talent, was first-runner up in Bb. Pilipinas 2013 (Miss Universe 2013 1st runner up Janine Tugonon’s batch). Last year (MJ Lastimosa’s batch), she joined again and made it to the Top 15 but failed to bag a placement. It’s her 3rd time to join Binibini this year and finally, Fil-German beauty emerged as the top winner.
Known for her screen name Pia Alonzo, the 25-year-old Cagayan de Oro native already appeared on various ABS-CBN programs such as “K2BU,” “Your Song,” and “Aryana.” She’s also a part-time model while training to become a beauty queen since 2012.
During the Question and Answer portion of last night’s Binibining Pilipinas, Pia was asked by Congresswoman Leni Robredo about her thoughts on internet censorship. She said ‘we should be careful by what we posts online’ either thoughts or photos. She concluded her answer by using the tagline of one of GMA Network’s advocacy called “Think before you click.”
Pia will be representing the Philippines in Miss Universe 2015.

Kaya hnd umuunlad ang Pilipinas dahil kapwa Pilipino mismo ang sumisira sa kapwa Pinoy… Panahon ni Ariella and Janine ang dami dami ring bashers… pero Top 5 placement ang 2… Nga Nga ang mga bashers… Kapag ito si Pia ng top 5 placement din nku sa mga ngbash – Kill Yourselves. Mga mapanghusga sa kapwa.
Kung suportahan nyo nalang sya sa pageant. Huwag nalang kayo magsalita ng hindi maganda. About Toni naman, siguro way nya lang yun para tanggalin yung pressure sa mga contestants. Wag nalang kayo manghusga ng kapwa nyo. Imbis na maging proud kayo, kung ano.ano pa sinasabi nyo. Be mature :).
Regarding Toni’s hosting performance..her punchlines/jokes maybe off. Pero wag naman siyang laitin. She didn’t mean bad to them..we know Toni, we can see how she does in the television when she hosts a program or a show. She has sense of humor. D lng tlga swak yung ganung talent niya sa Bb. Pilipinas. But she’s a good host in general if we only set aside that other side of hers. She couldn’t capture a heart of a decent man, if she’s not nice and not a kind in person.
Hala oi…agree.aq sa nagcomment na “kapwa pilipino sisirain nyu” he/she has a point. Wla na tayong maggawa yun ang results. And she deserves it naman. She got all the questions with correct and exact answers. Remember, we have that “wildcard” which means, sila yung mga hindi nakuha sa first try at binibigyan ng chansa dahil may nakitang potential.parang ganun din ang nangyari kay Pia..d man natin masasabin wildcard ang tawag dun, but the point is she got the chance to prover herself that she could do better with her potentials and napatunayan nya nga ngayon. Wa maging bitter dahil di nanalo ang mga bet natin, pinoy p rin siyang lalaban sa ms. Universe. So, support pa rin tayo. Okay bah yun?? =)

pia is worthy of winning the crown. janicel didn’t got the answer right. wynwn on the other hand didn’t targeted the right answer to the question. she used her universal answer whatever the question may be.. which is a playing safe act.
