Real-life couple Marco Alcaraz and Precious Lara Quigaman team up for the first time on television as they topbill tomorrow’s (Feb 28) episode of ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo,” which will tackle marital rape.

The two will give life to the story of Stella and Jimmy, who have remained sexually intimate in their 20 years of marriage.

Things will suddenly change when Jimmy starts to become violent whenever he wants to make love to his wife.

One night, Stella chooses not to sleep beside Jimmy out of fear. Jimmy gets mad and forces himself on Stella despite her begging him to stop.

The incident happens again for the worse because this time, Jimmy sexually abuses his wife in front of their daughter. Stella, fed up with Jimmy’s behavior, files rape charges against him in court.

Whose side will the court take? Does Stella really have an obligation to give Jimmy’s every sexual need as his lawfully wedded wife?
