Imagine, innocently documenting two trucks blocking your way at the south bound part of I-95. exit 9 at the New Brunswick exit in New Jersey, when from behind a huge trailer almost collides to your vehicle and barely missing you, is nothing short of a miracle.

According to the videographer of this clip, “I only wanted to take a picture while i was awaiting for them to clear up… And then I heard a noise from behind…I was barely missed.”

It is definitely no joke being on the said road especially on a very slippery exit. Despite the fear that could have paralyzed anyone on the spot upon, MrLegolize moved his vehicle away from danger and was very much in control of his fear.

According to him, after veering away from danger, he turns off his camera, calls 911, reports the accident, goes back to the truck and car drivers to see if they were alright. And once the New Jersey State Trooper has arrived and once he was assured that his presence is no longer needed, he left the scene.

When you are a slippery roads, here are some tips you may like to consider for your safety:

• In avoiding accidents, the best way is to stay off this types of roads until conditions of this passages are safe for travel and the threat has passed.
• Drive slowly because the more you are on high speed makes it easy for you to lose control on icy and slippery roads.
• Always wear your seatbelt because most road fatalities occur when occupants are not wearing their seatbelts on.
• Listen to the day’s weather forecast to make sure it is safe for you to drive.
• Road accidents often happen in multiple numbers, so if you’re in one or in the vicinity where an accident has just occurred get out! The greater threat here is the additional out-of-control vehicles on the road. Like what happened to the videographer, he was just taking video of an accident when from behind him a huge truck came out. As much as it would be nice to be a Good Samaritan, do not park on the said slippery highway as other vehicles may lose control and you might be in danger. Best way to go about it is contact the authorities that are well-equipped to safely block the road and has the capacity to divert traffic.
