They say traveling by plane is statistically safer than by car. These video clips will make you think otherwise.

Because an air crash is catastrophic than a car crash, you may think that it’s safer to travel by car than an airplane. And if you watch the video compilation of plane crashes below, you may sustain a phobia in riding an airplane or in scientific term, an “aviophobia.”

But here’s the truth: There are 1.58 fatalities per 100 million miles on a car and there’s zero fatalities per 100 million miles on an airplane. In other words, driving is more dangerous, with more than 5 million accidents compared to 20 accidents in flying.
