Lyca Gairanod to Join the Cast of ‘Hawak Kamay’
Lyca will begin taping for the Piolo-Pascual-starrer this Friday (August 23), where she is set to act side by side with the country’s top child stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, Yesha Camile, and fellow “The Voice Kids” top-runner JK Labajo, who also only recently joined the cast.
Lyca has since gained a good amount of buzz for her surprisingly superb acting in her “MMK” episode, which garnered a nationwide rating of 38.4% according to data from Kantar Media, tripling the score of its timeslot counterpart of the rival network. In that particular episode, the 9-year-old champion played herself in the television retelling of her story as a scavenger of Tanza, Cavite. The episode also pushed the official hashtag #MMKLyca to the top spot, dominating conversations online as the number one trending topic in the Philippines, as well as worldwide, on Twitter during its telecast.

Lyca-very smart and very independent she knows what
she’s doing although only 9 years old ,I admired her, frankly speaking darren is not supposed to be in the
runner-up because he is a visitor,(guest)bakit hindi na lang
ibinigay kay birthday singer or etc.contest is walang mayaman,mahirap,basurira,basuriro,pangit,guapo basta
marunong ka at galing sa puso besides tagalog ka or

As first time ns acting nya sa mmk pinaiyak kya nya ako lol kaya pa nya mag improve sa lahat kc bata p nmn sya. Walapa ngang training mganda n ang boses pno p kkya pag na train n ng husto yan.
Tama ka Ed, Well Lyca’s talent in singing needs to improve more. Bagay sya sa acting, baka dun sya magexcel but Singing medyo mahirapan sya kaya study muna bago magfocus talaga sa showbiz. Strike it while still hot, pag natapos na ang Hawak Kamay, magstudy muna. yun ang importante. Kung talagang para s yo ang fame no matter what kahit lumaki ka n makukuha mo pa rin yan.
