21-year-old instructor and PUP honor student Floramante Sir John Don King Howard Ponce III will try his luck to become the sixth millionaire in TV5’s ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ this Sunday (August 17).

Known by his friends as Howie, the contestant graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Mesa where he took up his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. Being quite an achiever since he was young, Howie did not inform anyone when he auditioned for the game show due to his fear of failure. It’s also the same reason why he almost backed out from the game when TV5 informed him that he’ll be facing game master Bossing Vic Sotto.
