Maria and Richard Yap, “Be Careful With My Heart” viewers and netizens quickly made the romantic episode last Thursday (August 7)–where Richard got off a chopper to surprise Maya with a bouquet of flowers–a nationwide trending topic on Twitter with the official hashtag #SerChiefAndMayaTheUltimateMoment.
Viewers rejoiced when the couple finally reconciled after a serious argument over their opposing views on disciplining their kids. Maya and Richard’s hug and kiss became more meaningful after Mrs. Chief’s plane had an emergency landing, which made Ser Chief and the whole family worried.
With this ‘kilig overload,’ the show won in its time slot, based on data from Kantar Media. “Be Careful With My Heart” garnered a national TV rating of 14.3%, or 6 points higher than its rival show on GMA “The Ryzza Mae Show” (7.9%).
