Kim Chiu Beats Marian, Sarah and Kathryn for Yahoo! Celebrity of the Year Award
Kim bested Marian Rivera, Sarah Geronimo, Megan Young and Kathryn Bernardo for the biggest plum of the Yahoo! Celebrity Awards 2014 which is the Celebrity of the Year Award. The Kapamilya Drama Princess also took home the Actress of the Year award for her performance in the primetime teleserye “Ikaw Lamang.” Her leading man, Coco Martin, bagged the Actor of the Year Award.
Furthermore, Kim’s movie with Xian Lim “Bride for Rent” was named Movie of the Year while her teleserye took home the Teleserye of the Year award.
So who’s behind Kim’s victory in Yahoo Celebrity Awards? ‘KimXi,’ of course, which won fan club of the Year.

It does not mean a thing. She’s not a good actress. She has been an actress for amost a decade now and there is no improvement with her acting. As a matter of fact, her acting is getting mediocre at best. Julia Montes is a much better actress than her and Kathryn Bernardo. I watched her two movies, Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo and Bride for Rent and I was so disgusted. The movies are terrible and the acting is mediocre. In the Philippines, as long as the famous performers are in the movie, its going to be a blockbuster..kahit walang kuwenta ang mga ito.

Though im not berating Kim Chiu’s achievements, huwag din naman masyadong OA. Kim is ABS-CBN’s teleserye princess. Stop using tags like ‘queen of philippine movies or queen of teleserye’ because it can stir arguments on other fans. Stick lang kayo sa title na binigay sa iniidolo niyo. Thanks ;)))
