Mighty Men: National Rugby Players on Being the Newest Flawless Endorsers

When it comes to skin care products and services, people have this notion that only women must be the only ones taking care of their skin.

Volcanoes

However, this thinking should change because in truth, being healthy should be both inside and outside the body and that taking care of the oneself, including the skin, is a universal notion that both men and women need to prioritize.

Going against the grain of having only women celebrity endorsers, FLAWLESS; the leading company in the beauty solutions business and who continuously raises the industry’s standards in the region, by providing us a new perspective when it comes to taking care of oneself.

FLAWLESS launches the “Real Men Do Care” campaign and asked handsome and athletic, National Rugby Players Andrew Wolff, Gareth “Gaz” Holgate, Chris Everingham and Harry Morris, to be their newest ambassadors.

Last month, I was privileged to meet and know their thoughts on the campaign and being the newest endorsers fro the Philippines’ skin and beauty giant.

National Rugby team’s Chris Everingham shared how blessed he to be asked to represent this brand.

“It is always an honor to be a representative of something, anything really, and representing a good brand that had been here for 12 years in the country, it is important to equal and raise the bar again,” Chris shared. “It is a pleasure to be invited to be one of the endorsers of this brand as it helps put us out there with Jasmine Curtis, it’s an honor.”

“When they first ask us, I actually feel a bit honored because I know the brand Flawless and it’s everywhere. It has a big presence in the Philippines, and I thought it was real honor to be asked to be an endorser of this prominently known brand,” Harry Morris said.

Fellow National Rugby teammate, Gareth “Gas” Holgate couldn’t agree more. “It’s quite exciting for me and an honor actually, to be honest. We get approached by clothing companies but never really like facial skin care. I’m really excited because I like the idea of taking care of myself,” Gas admitted, and he also points out that it is beneficial not only to them but to men in general. “It’s campaign benefits both us especially the campaign “Real Men Do Care” as it brings out a strong statement that it’s not just women who take care of themselves but also men who are into contact sports, who do really hit each other everyday. It shows that we do take care of ourselves to make sure we look presentable. I’m really excited with this and our future with Flawless.”

Harry informs how such campaign was brilliant and how it really helped him personally. “I thought that it was great and phenomenal for Flawless to have considered male athletes to be endorsers for a dermatology company. I find it absolutely good, and I even ended up knowing more about their campaign about being real men. The said campaign showed that aside from working hard and also working physically doing a lot of sports, it showed that one should really take look after themselves and it made a lot of sense. It was a nice project to be involved in.”

Andrew Wolff, the most recognizable National Rugby endorser who have been in the limelight even before he joined the sport, further stresses the importance of this campaign. “Basically being role models for all those guys out there who are a little bit too shy to go to the clinic and with the ‘Lalake ako, I’m not meant to do that’ attitude, we hope to help them take care of themselves and the products as being ambassadors and endorsers of this Flawless campaign.”

Chris adds that to further encourage other men, he does his part to be true to the campaign through and through. “On my side, I look after myself and always make sure give the best I can be, professionally and also in my sports so that I can contribute in this partnership.”
