ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya, through donations, has provided materials and tools for the construction of new boats.
The beneficiaries are grateful for the said project that will help them in rebuilding their livelihood.
“It is now possible for me to send my two children to college,” said fisherman Sanito Colminar in an interview aired on “TV Patrol.”
Residents in Basey have been constructing more than 465 motor boats, which will be distributed to 20 coastal barangays. Some of the motor boats will already benefit some fishermen next week.
