Yaman ng Bayan (YNB), NEWS5’s newest monthly documentary series, delves on the relevant issues confronting the country's environment and natural resources.

For its second episode tomorrow (Saturday), Yaman ng Bayan will give viewers an in-depth look at the rich and diverse nature of the country’s different woodlands, forest covers and national parks, while also delving on the government’s programs that are expected to protect, preserve, manage and sustain these natural resources.

TV5’s top anchor, Paolo Bediones, will lead this special exploration as he attempts to live the life of a forest ranger for a day, and discover the real and current status of the mountains and forest covers in some parts of the country.

Aside from tackling the pertinent issues of reforestation and illegal logging in the country, the episode will also feature our forests’ incredible biodiversity and our world-class wood and furniture industry, which actually plays an important role on the economy and society.

Yaman ng Bayan airs tomorrow, March 29, 10:15pm on TV5.
