From Spotlight Theater:
I personally could not believe I was actually going down the stairs with Kapuso heart-throb Mike Tan as we both descended the fourth-floor of the Il Terazzo Building.
We just finished attending the Sparty, a GMA Artist Center treat to stars like Mike Tan, Andrea Torres and bloggers like me at Vanity Beauty Bar & Patisserie. There were no hint of prima donna-ish aura, “I’m-A-Star” negative kind of vibes when I was with him. In fact, the reason why he opted to go down the stairs with me is because the elevator was taking ages to go up, and since he used to do mountain climbing as well, it was natural option for him to not mind going down the steps of the said building.
Far from the formal blogcon that we bloggers usually experience, GMA Artist center organized a cooler or apt event that provided a more laidback ambiance with the stars. And true enough aside from discovering their beauty, health and wellness secrets, I’ve proven once again to myself what I think about Kapuso stars – they are down-to-earth.
Of the GMA Artists that day I got to talk with was Kambal Sirena’s Mike Tan and Andrea Torres. I found out about his theatre background, his health and wellness lifestyle and what he thinks about the upcoming fanta-serye “Dyesebel” of the competing channel.
The first thing, I asked was how much pressure does he feel as “Dyesebel” will be airing soon.
Pag ginalingan ko, everything will follow.”
According to Mike, so far that the advantage that he sees that “Kambal Sirena” has over “Dyesebel” is the storyline itself. “Dyesebel andun na iyon, ginawa na iyon. ”Kambal Sirena” oo, parehas sirena, pero this time may kakambal na tao yung sirena. Doon kami magkakaiba.
In “Kambal Sirena” Mike plays a fisherman there, I was curious with the different preparations he had for the role physically, knowing he will be casting huge fishnets to make the role credible. He needs to be fit to do that.
“Gym.
