Recruiter Extorting Money from Job Seeker in ‘Bistado’

Broadcast journalist Julius Babao exposes a recruiter who has been trying to extort money from a job seeker after the latter decided to back out in “Bistado” this Monday (Mar 10).

The recruiter allegedly asked for P15,000 when the job seeker had a change of heart, decided to quit, and withdrew his documents and passport.

The job seeker added that he complied with all the requirements asked by the recruiter, but after six months of waiting, he hasn’t been offered a job. Will he be able to recover his documents and passport from the alleged illegal recruiter?

The episode also reveals the modus operandi of a fake motorcycle dealer that swindles money from online shoppers.
