This Wednesday (Jan 22) in “My Puhunan,” broadcast journalist Karen Davila shares how Quirino took chances to build his own business and became rich by producing and selling fruit juices and nata de coco.

Determined to send all of his children to college, Quirino started producing fruit juices for kids branded as “Fresh Q” with the help of his chemist sister-in-law. “Fresh Q” eventually expanded into making other products such as nata de frutas and ingredients used in halo-halo. “Fresh Q” also produces its own nata de coco, a fact Quirino takes pride in.

Karen also features the bridal shop of actress Kim Chiu”Adorata Weddings” that sells ready-to-wear creations of famous designers Pepsi Herrera and Edwin Tan.

Doris Bigornia, meanwhile, gets to know a few of the millions of peoplefrom all walks of life who joined this year’s procession of Black Nazarene. What’s the reason for their devotion to the iconic statue?
