Beginning January 27, two superstars from rival networks--Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin--are set to collide on Philippine primetime with the premiere of their teleserye "Carmela" and "The Legal Wife," respectively.

There are speculations that Locsin’s “The Legal Wife” will be pitted by ABS-CBN to the timeslot of Rivera’s “Carmela” because both teleseryes cater to mature televiewers and these shows usually air on the second half of the primetime block. If this will happen, the rivalry between the two superstars and their legions of followers will surely intensify, giving us a battle that will size up to the rivalry of Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos decades ago.

Now let me leave you a proposition. If the two programs will air on the same timeslot, which show are you going to watch?

    ada, totoo ang sinabi ni mam charo mo. kaya aayusin ko uli ang pagkakasunod-sunod ng primetime natin. tsaka pwede ba review nyo mga post nyo kapamilya bago click ang submit. kasi kulang kulang at minsan hindi maintindihan. Uulitin ko, yung maayos na comment lang ang babayaran. kaya ada umayos ka!

    The best talaga ang TLW,bawat eksena ay kaabang abang.maaring gasgas na ang concept pero dahil sa husay ng mga artista,bawat eksena walang maitatapon.carmela?maaring bago sa panlasa niyo pero my goodness!super lame ng acting ni marian..hindi lang story ang binabasehan ng mga manonood kundi ang husay gumanap ng mga artista.kahit paulit ulit pa yan di mo pagsasawaan.

    Guyssss kung teleserye ang pag uusapan teaser palang the legal wife na my fod kitang kita naman ehhh. yung cArmela anu yan ganda lang panlaban. Nagshushooting ang carmela sa school namin grabe tong c marian di man lang pinansin yung friend ko kung ako yung dean sa school namin wala akong paki sakanya artist lang siya pwehhh. So angel ako dorever maganda mabait sexy at may paninindigan ang ganda ganda pa so angel locsin you did a great job kahit anung comments ng mga tao dito wala akong paki dun kayo sa station niyoung walang kinikilingan pero pumapanig kay deniece cornejo na apo ng ceo

    The Legal Wife,sobrang ganda.e ano naman kung predictable yung story?ang mahalaga magaling umarte yung mga bidang artista at may sense yung story.di yung bano na nga ang bida,kalandian lang nilalaman ng story.

    @Lizette Perez ang alam ko bata talaga pinartner because it goes with the story, may pagka may-september love affair…

    To ABS soaps, bilib ako great quality, pero sana lang think out of the box, heavy drama again, tapos agawang asawa na naman ang plot…

    To GMA, congratulations this time, nagte-take talga sila ng risk, like the very successful My HUsband’s Lover, napakahusay ng screenplay, editing, etc… handsdown.. and I believe sila rin ang people behind Carmela, so malamang excellent quality rin to,,, I got to give it to GMA this time kasi, pati Rhodora X kakaiba rin, split personality naman, galing,, they really think out of the box and experiment…

    Well, good luck to Carmela and Legal Wife..

    Carmela, ako kasi it’s something new, refreshing, curious din ako sa story line…

    OK din naman yung the legal wife, kaso sampalan, tarayan, agawan na naman ng asawa, wla na bang iba….kasawa na rain ganitong concept…

    Carmela because it is new and interesting. Now to say it is similar to Malena. is a total misnomer. Watch it my darlings and then compare. It is one of my favorite films. Speaking without thinking just magnifies a persons ignorance. Stories about marital issues as they say in Filipino is “gasgas na” , too cliché. There is nothing new nor interesting about it and I do not need to see that on television. Listening to my friends and co- workers marital woes or travails make a better copy.
    A person’s choice depends on one’s level of intelligence and education, if you catch my drift. I have said my piece, so peace OUT everybody!

    Carmela is surely going to be a HIT all around asia and even in africa once more.. That’s how charismatic Marian is… and to all her haters nganga kayo, wala kayong alam gawin kundi maniwala agad sa chismis at siraan agad ang nakakakumpetensya ng idol nyo, di nyo ba alam na by doing that nasisira dinm and idol nyo, nakakagain din sila ng haters dahila sa ginagawa nyo…

    Anyway, Carmela is a must watch…

    Im also Angel’s fan, but sadly, Im diassppointed with this comeback to teleserye after a long time. She deserves better, tapos second choice lang sya for the role… haisstt..
    Tapos, c Anne pa napili sa Dyesebel AGAIN….. What’s happening to ABS, deteriorating ang mga soap operas..

    I like Marian and Angel, they are both good. So stop the fanwars.. But in terms of the soap, I would rather watch Carmela, curious ako sa story. Sa Legal Wife, I like Angel, but come on ABS, after ilang years nyo syang finreezer, ganitong role lang?!! Tama yung sabi ng kramihan, wala na ba kayong maisip na concept, gasgas na gasgas nato!! =(

    mas preferred q ung the legal wife.. iba kz tlga pg abs-cbn ang gumawa mganda tlga magaling pati ung mga star sa abs mafi2l mu tlga ung acting nila lahat ng teleserye nila taas ng ratings..eversince abs n tlga aq pero d dahil solid 2 aq kya ganto comment ko..one time kz nkita q acting ng gma star performance nila even in dancing @ singing iba tlga sa abs the best maga2ling ung stars iba ang kalidad khit sa movie..kya thumbs up aq sa lahat ng bumubuo sa abs..pinagiicpan tlga nila mga project n gnagawa nila kya lagi mataas ratings..more powers @ godbless to abs-cbn..
