Beginning January 27, two superstars from rival networks--Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin--are set to collide on Philippine primetime with the premiere of their teleserye "Carmela" and "The Legal Wife," respectively.

There are speculations that Locsin’s “The Legal Wife” will be pitted by ABS-CBN to the timeslot of Rivera’s “Carmela” because both teleseryes cater to mature televiewers and these shows usually air on the second half of the primetime block.
