PH Bet Angeli Dione Gomez Wins Miss Tourism International 2013/2014

The Philippines has just won the Miss Tourism International title for the second consecutive year courtesy of 20-year-old Angeli Dione Gomez.

Gomez bested 59 other contestants in the 17th edition of the Malaysia-based pageant which was held this year in the southern city of Putrajaya.

The first runner-up went to Sunidporn Srisuwan from Thailand; Second runner-up was Sarah Czarnuch from Australia; Third runner up went to Michelle Alexis Torres of Dominican Republic; Fourth Runner Up was host candidate Thaarah Ganesan.

Last year’s winner, Rizzini Alexis Gomez, relinquished the crown to another Gomez and another Filipina during the pageant’s final.

This is the third time that a Pinay conquered the 17 year old pageant. The first Filipina to win Miss Tourism International was Maria Esperanza Manzano in 2000.

The Philippines is now the country with the most number of wins in Miss Tourism International with three followed by India and Poland with 2 each.

    Lalong nagngingitngit for sure ang mga Thais niyan sa Pinoy dahil wagi na naman ang Pinay, lalo pa’t first runner up pala ang candidate nila, haha..

  4. She looks like Carmen Soo, so the judges thinks she is from Malaysia. Just my opinion. but she is really stunning you can see she is a stand out from the rest.

  5. It is indeed Philippines Year as the Beauty Titleholders of the Year. Just a side comment, why is it that the Minister of Tourism was the one who crowned our delegate, should be the reigning queen. Pansin ko lang.
