The Bottomline: DSWD Chief Strikes Back vs Critics
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Dinky Soliman will break her silence in “The Bottomline With Boy Abunda” this Saturday (December 7) after receiving criticisms from the public about the government’s relief operations in the affected areas of super typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan). What are the challenges that DSWD had to overcome for them to reach out to Yolanda survivors especially during the height of the storm surge? Is it true that Department of Interior Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas tried to talk Alfred Romualdez into surrendering his authority as mayor of Tacloban City? In Sec. Soliman’s opinion, what were the right moves made by the Aquino Administration and how can government agencies improve the current situation of calamity survivors in Visayas? Don’t miss the 2013 CMMA Best Talk Show and PMPC Best Public Affairs Program “The Bottomline with Boy Abunda” this Saturday night, after “Banana Split.” For more updates, log on to www.abs-cbn.com or follow @abscbndotcom on Twitter.
Mr. Abunda should not call the dswd secretary by her name.. for me parang bastos ang dating considering her position as cabinet secretary.. ilang beses nya tinawag na “Dinky” si Secretary Soliman which i think napaka improper.. feeling kasi ni mr. Abunda ay napaka talino niya and ka level niya si Secretary Soliman.. mr. Abunda should be ashamed of himself kasi in public pa siya ganon.. nakahiya sya.. i hope napansin yon ng mga televiewers…
