“Status: It’s Complicated” has outgrossed “Tuhog” by taking the no. 10 slot in the year’s biggest Pinoy films for 2013 to date by raking P25.34 million in 3 weeks. It’s also the only non-Star Cinema production in the Top 10.

Leading the local box office for the time frame November 20 to 24 is the highly-anticipated “Hunger Games” sequel, “Catching Fire.” On its first 5 days of screening the film earned a whopping P142.6 million which is good for 10th in the list of biggest Hollywood movies in the Philippines for 2013, at the expense of “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” which dropped to 11th position.

  1. Im sure malalagpasan ng Call Center Girl ang Status IC so ibig sabihin lahat ng Top 10 movies ay gawang Star Cinema. Tatak ABS-CBN kaya tinatangkilik at pinipilahan kahit mahal ang bayad sa sine. Musta naman ang iba jan? Kala ko ba magrerelease ng movie everymonth. Matatapos na lang ang taon nakaisa pa lang at di pa umabot sa 20M ang kinita haha. Yan napapala ng kahambugan at kasinungalingan ng lolo nyung pandak!
