It's another Third Runner-up honors for the Philippines in what could be its most stunning year in the world of beauty pageants.

After the double wins of Megan Young (Miss World 2013) and Mutya Datul (Miss Supranational 2013) and the Third Runner-up finish of Ariella Arida in the Miss Universe 2013, Annalie Forbes also won Third Runner-up in the inaugural Miss Grand International 2013.

Held in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this evening, November 19, Annalie placed 4th amongst 71 delegates vying for the world’s youngest beauty title. Puerto Rico’s Janellee Chaparro won the crown to elevate the Caribbean nation from a dismal year in the global beauty contest scene. Chantel Martinez of the Dominican Republic won 1st Runner-up and Denisa Pacesiakova of Slovak Republic won Second Runner-up. Kelly Louise Maguire of Australia completed the Top 5 after winning Fourth Runner-up.

Annalie, 20 years old, who hails from Malolos, Bulacan is Binibining Pilipinas 2012’s First Runner-up. Her right to represent the country in the first ever Miss Grand International is by appointment. Annalie’s final question was about how to prevent war and global conflicts. “I will use my position to promote the advocacy of Miss Grand International using various instruments such as social media, the gadget itself, and if necessary, our personal presence to spread the wonderful message of peace and I would like to thank all the donator(s) of our country from the last typhoon Yolanda,”Forbes responded who also emerged as one of the favorites at the earlier parts of the competition. She became part of the Top 20 in the Swimsuit contest and Top 10 in the National Costume competition.
