GMA Network Releases 2013 Christmas Station ID

GMA Network celebrates our Redeemer’s birth in its 2013 Christmas Campaign dubbed, “Sundan Natin Ang Bituin Pabalik sa Kanyang Piling,” inspiring viewers to be reminded of the real meaning of the Yuletide Season.

Pasko

“At the heart of the Christmas celebration is God’s gift to us, the birth of His only begotten Son,” says GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon. “Through this campaign, we hope to enjoin every Kapuso to rejoice in this most precious and significant demonstration of love ever bestowed on mankind,” he adds.

The full version of the Christmas plug premiered on November 12 in GMA’s noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”

Featuring GMA’s Entertainment and News and Public Affairs personalities, the music video revisits the night of the Nativity with the Kapuso stars paying homage to the Child Jesus. Just as the shepherds and the Magi‘s travel to the manger, our Kapuso personalities take a similar journey as they follow the Guiding Light symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem.

“In the middle of the holiday rush and festivities, we hope that GMA, through this campaign, moves us to take pause and be reminded of the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. We wish to inspire every Kapuso to take that meaningful journey with us to our Lord Jesus in the manger,” shares Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Network’s President and COO.

The jingle, “Ang Tunay na Regalo ng Pasko”, a solemn hymn with a contemporary feel and pop blend, was brought to life by the Philippine Sandolphon Singers, members of which are alumni of UP Concert Chorus, who have been serving the EDSA Shrine for almost two decades.

Forming the team behind the Sundan Natin Ang Bituin Pabalik sa Kanyang Piling Christmas plug are members of the Network’s Program Support Department: Regie Bautista (First Vice President), Grace Feliciano (Assistant Vice President), Joy Comia-Ashipaoloye (Junior Associate Creative Director), BJ Camaya (Copy Director), Bobby Pagotan (Promo writer), Jason Faustino (Sr. Visualizer), Raymond Ignacio (Sr. Visualizer) and Hasmin Marable (Senior Project Manager); working hand in hand with representatives of the Post Production Department: Paul Hendrick Ticzon and Vince Gealogo (Directors), Edward Achacoso (Director of Photography), John Paul Arrojado (Assistant DOP), Neil Nanquil (Colorist/Master Edito/Edit Supervisor), Allyn de Ocampo (Main Cam/Arri Operator/Asst. DOP), Don Suratos and Van Sean Deato (Assistant Directors), Ingrid Navarro (Shoot Producer), Hazel Joy Raymundo (Post Production Admin), Joanne Valencia (Project Manager), Criselda Dacanay (Production Manager), Steve Salvador (Costume Supervisor), Cris Martin Marquez (Graphics Supervisor) and Don Carlo Suratos (Flame Supervisor).

The original jingle was created by Brian James Camaya (Lyricist), Edward Mitra (Composer), Gino Torres (Vocal Arranger), Philippine Sandalphon Singers (Vocals), Weena De Leon (Mixer) and Gideon Purugganan (Recording Specialist).

Message is good bat this should make it more commercial and atractive. Very simple. Para masabi lang na meron station ID basta na lang isaksiak ang talents at patingalain sa sky. They can make better than this, paging GMA writer. This is a neophyte works. Please undergo training, graphics is too simple, conecept is too dull.

  5. iba parin gawa ng ABS CBN, pareho naman clang may iparating na mensahi pero makita naman natin kung sino ang mas maganda… mga die hard funs lang kasi di matanggap!!! peace

  6. very proud kapamilya after i saw this

  7. for me the more important is the meaning, and its really touching, its says the through meaning of Christmas the birth of Jesus, the love and a new hope…how we could help others of we don’t have hope…

i guess lets just be look into the brighter side of it, set aside the your negative comments its not helpful.. if you really want to respect you then respect others as well..

i’m avid fan of GMA from the beginning but it doesn’t mean that i don’t watch the show of kapamilya and kapatid, and some of it is very good..

i just want to point out was the RESPECT..

  11. Christians would appreciate their station ID it is Christ centered . The true meaning of Christmas. Listen to the message . After what happened to the Philippines hope people change their views about life. Pagnanira ka Hindi nakakabuti sa iyo. Have a blessed Christmas.
