‘Superman’ Kimpoy Feliciano is Mossimo’s New Brand Ambassador

Tagged by his followers as "Superman," rising online-turned-TV personality--Kimpoy Feliciano--landed his first endorsement deal with an American apparel brand: Mossimo.


Kim Paolo Vivas Feliciano, known by netizens as simply “Kimpoy,” was discovered on YouTube via his “Pinoy Banats videos” and later on became a popular Twitter personality with more than 500,000 followers to date. His online activities on various social media platforms paved the way for him to become a recording artist and an actor.

Last year, Kimpoy went home to the Philippines (from New Zealand where his family is based) to launch his self-titled debut album under Universal Records. Last July, he interpreted the PhilPop 2013 entry “Sana Pinatay Mo Na Lang Ako,” which music video has now gained over 1 million views on YouTube.

After breaking through the music scene, the online heartthrob later on conquered television when he bagged a role on GMA Network’s daytime kiligserye “With A Smile.” And recently, one of his followers made a fan fiction novel about him titled “Fan Girl Meets Superman,” published by Lifebooks (the publisher of the national best-selling book “Para sa Hopeless Romantic”).

Among the awards that he’ve won include “Trending Twitter Phenom” and “Thought Mover” at the Globe Tatt Awards, and number one YouTube Leader in the 4th Shorty Awards beating other local and international celebrities. He was also appointed earlier this year as a “Peace Ambassador” for the youth by the office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process.

During a meet and greet tour at Mossimo SM North EDSA last September 28, the rising multi-media personality expressed his excitement after being chosen as brand ambassador of the US apparel brand.

“Sobrang overwhelmed [po ako] kasi di ko inexpect na ako talaga and Mossimo is an American brand, sobrang dream po talaga ito, speechless, sobrang thankful po talaga,” he said.

“I love Mossimo because it shows my individuality and it fits my fashion style. And I’m really excited that I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to do this kind of meet and greet because it’s one way to have a real interaction with my followers,” he added.

Kimpoy is scheduled for two more meet and greet events this month, in partnership with premier urban (street brand Mossimo), at the following Mossimo branches:

Oct. 12 – Mossimo SM San lazaro
Oct. 19 – Mossimo Trinoma
