Known for launching new formats and new faces on Philippine Television, this July 1 at 8pm, TV5 once again sets screens ablaze, this time with a mini-series so fast-paced, intense and provocative, you can only watch it in 30 days: "Misibis Bay."

“Misibis Bay” brings to light the controversial issue of a May-December affair in this inspiring story of a girl who lost everything in the past and now has to work hard and persevere in order to fight for her future. Shot in Bicol’s premiere resort, the luxury island playground of Misibis Bay, this mini-series boasts of a cast made up of some of the most acclaimed and some of the hottest performers on television.

Leading the stellar cast of Misibis Bay is TV5’s virgin bombshell Ritz Azul, who is now ready to show her sexier, bolder, and mature side as she plays the role of Maita Ramirez, a young lady who only dreams of providing a comfortable life for her ailing grandmother and marries an older businessman, thinking that it’s her ticket out of her miserable life.

Working with Ritz for the very first time is the “Drama King of Philippine TV,” Mr. Christopher de Leon who will play the role of Anthony Cadiz, a wealthy real estate tycoon who fathered three sons from different women. He decides to right all the wrongs of the past by helping and marrying the girl whose family rightfully owned the land they built their resort on, Maita. Also joining the cast is the original “Ms. Body Beautiful” Ms. Vivian Velez, on her first comeback role as Miranda Cadiz, the scheming and manipulative older sister of Anthony who is envious of her brother’s success. Meanwhile, FAMAS and Star Awards lifetime achievement awardee, Ms. Boots Anson-Roa, will play the role of Lola Delia, the caring grandmother who raised Maita on her own. Her wise and comforting words are Maita’s source of inspiration and strength.

Adding intrigue and complications to Maita’s life are the Cadiz brothers Andrew, Bernard, and Charlie, played Kapatid hunk actors Daniel Matsunaga, Victor Silayan and Vin Abrenica respectively. They too will fall for the feisty Maita. Also part of the stellar cast of Misibis Bay are Andrea del Rosario, Luke Jickain, Malak So Shdifat, Lucky Mercado, and Megan Young.
