Take a trip down memory lane as Star Cinema’s romantic comedy “The Reunion” airs this Sunday (June 16) on the Blockbuster Sundays movie block of Cinema One.

With a cast made up of today’s hottest talents, “The Reunion” stars Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, Enrique Gil and Kean Cipriano, together with Julia Montes, Cristine Reyes, Jessy Mendiola, Megan Young and Bangs Garcia.

“The Reunion” tells the story of four young men who were friends in high school. Several years after graduating, they decide to meet again, reuniting them on a journey to find the true meaning of love and happiness.

The film is also backed up by a soundtrack with songs by the influential OPM band Eraserheads, with some character references made in tribute to their favorite hits such as “Julie Tearjerky”, “Tindahan ni Aling Nena”, and “Alapaap”.

Starmometer.com took “The Reunion” as “a fun barkada movie that has a road-trip feel with an energetic cast” and also adding, “The way the songs of phenomenal band—Eraserheads—became intertwined stories works.” Rod Magaru, a blogger also said of the film, “it helped me go back through old times.”
