‘My Husband’s Lover’ – Teaser
On June 10, primetime viewing will never be the same again as GMA 7 presents the most provocative drama series of the network via “My Husband’s Lover.” This highly-dramatic and intriguing soap opera tackles true to life relationships. My Husband’s Lover is topbilled by Carla Abellana and Dennis Trillo and introducing the newest Kapuso Tom Rodriguez.
Directed by Dominic Zapata, “My Husband’s Lover” dares to defy all conventions on traditional drama soaps and will soon capture viewers all over the country. Also in the cast are Pancho Magno and respected TV and movie stars Chanda Romero, Glydel Mercado, Roi Vinzon, and Ms. Kuh Ledesma.

HI! I don’t fail to watch your show. I previously remarked the good performances of your actors and actresses, but as the show goes on, Ms. Chanda Romero and Glydel Mercado are most superb. Their eyes speak. They are natural performers. Ms. Kuh Ledesma delivers her lines very well, very much suited for her character.
I have one constructive criticism though. Tom’s lines and acting to Carla’s dominance is unbecoming of an affluent and educated man that he is. He may be gay, worried to have his secret divulged, but again, he is acting so low. Realistically, he is well-off so he can resort to threaten her to keep her mouth shut or their children will be brought to the States, or etc. so therefore, Tom’s role should not be so helpless. On the other hand, Carla should also be more subdued in her acting during confrontation scenes. Though her scene the first time she knew about Tom’s sexual preference, is impressive.
These are but comments for your better judgment.
I just believe that no one should be at the mercy of another, no matter what secret may be unfolded.

the best ang GMA 7 .. kht konti lng mga artist nio.. mgagaling nmn at wala mga record napalitan bf unlike sa ibang show, uu nga magaganda, madme, kaya lng magkakaibgan talo talo sa bf, ntkman ng isa ttkmn dn ng isa.. arte arte pa na prng d nmn galing sa GMA 7… kht ano svhn nio, sikat man kau ngayon sa GMA 7 parn kayo nagmula.. buti pa 7 kht my gnun case man sila d nmn talamak! at mga tunay na lalaki tlga!.. un iba jan, nkita nmb at npicturan sa bar.. nkkpgholding hands sa kapwa artist! PDA! pero ang acting sa musi video at teleserye lalaking lalaki! ayun na! alam na!!!
Congrats and more power to the whole cast of My Husband’s Lover, as well as to the director/scriptwiter and the people behind the scene, of course . Ms. Chanda Romero, Glydel Mercado, Roi Vinzon, and Ms. Kuh Ledesma act natural with their respective roles. They are tailor-fit for the roles. Carla Abellana gives a splendid performance in delivering her lines with superb expressive eyes. She is like Hilda Koronel when she delivers her lines, clear and precise. Tom Rodriguez is successful in portraying extreme characters – determined (to be rightful, to get to his professional dreams) and confused (to follow what his heart dictates, to surrender everything for the sake of love), being epitome of manhood (being a good son, husband and father) and womanhood (always being supportive in times when his love needs him most, loving unconditionally), and classiness ( driving expensive cars, having business dealings with influential people) and down-to-earrth attitude (being happy for simple things, going to gay bars)–his acting may sometimes be too much but it goes well when Dennis is subtle in his. And it is expected of him, considering that he gets to explode after bottling up his true emotions. Tom’s performance shines perfect. What about Dennis – He is a very good actor. He is like Nora Aunor – subtle yet strong. He knows how to control his weeping, and when he cries, it is executed with proper style. He is better than other actors that he truly deserves a major role. I just hope GMA 7 starts putting its teleseryes in DVDs/CDs for public viewing again and again and again. — I wonder though what could be the balanced ending of this teleserye?

i can’t see the problem about this serye it is nice and worth it to watch…concept wise and the acting are very good…Thanks to GMA for giving this very nice story…

Carla should get quality projects like this one. She’s good enough to portray challenging roles. Acting runs in the blood indeed!
