"American Horry Story" star Evan Peters will play the role of Quicksilver in Brian Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

According to a tweet by Brian Singer, Evan Peters will play Pietro Maximoff, aka the mutant superhero known as Quicksilver, in the film adaptation of the comic book epic: “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Since the film is the sequel to both “X-Men: The Last Stand” (2006) and 2011’s “X-Men: First Class,” “Days of Future Past” includes cast members from both films like Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult.
