NBA Playoff Airs on Studio 23 this Weekend

Brace yourselves for some red hot NBA playoff action this weekend as the San Antonio Spurs take on the Golden State Warriors this Saturday (May 11) and the New York Knicks go up against the Indiana Pacers this Sunday (May 12) with both series tied at 1-1 coming into game three.

As the series heads back to Oakland, the Golden State Warriors will rely heavily on the shooting of star point guard Stephen Curry who is averaging 27.1 points per game on 47.1 % shooting in the playoffs while the San Antonio Spurs will continue to slow down the pace of the game and look to stifle the Warriors with their excellent team play on both offense and defense. Can Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan steal a game in Oakland where the Warriors have yet to lose this postseason? Or will the young Warriors continue their sizzling play and dismantle the Spurs on their home floor?

The Knicks, meanwhile, are coming off a 26-point blowout win in game two against the struggling but persistent Pacers. The series features a match-up of two of the best small forwards in the league, Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, with George’s Pacers taking home court advantage away from the Knicks with a game one victory heading into Indiana for game three. Can the Pacers continue their brand of physical play as they have done throughout the regular season? Or will Anthony, the league scoring champion who is averaging 29.5 points per game this series, carry the Knicks and take back home court advantage?

Don’t miss the tip-off between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors airing live on Studio 23 this Saturday (May 11) at 10:00 AM; and between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers airing this Sunday (May 12), 10:15 AM on ABS-CBN. Both games will have a same day primetime telecast on Studio 23 at 9:30 PM.
