Marjorie Barretto's lawyer has confirmed that the woman in the photo scandal which became viral on social networking sites over the weekend is indeed her client. The announcement was made on Tuesday, a day after Marjorie denied that she's the woman on the 'sexy' photos.

Atty. Lorna Kapunan made the confirmation via an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday in contrast to what Marjorie said on Pep.ph last Monday saying it’s not her “nature” to do something like that.

“She’s a mother, she’s very upset,” Kapunan said after making the nod that the photo scandal is real. “She’s not running for any public office precisely because she wants to guard her privacy,” she added.

Kapunan threatened some bloggers who posted the photos saying that they will take legal actions against them if they don’t put it down.

“We have the addresses of all the bloggers, and we have sent you demand letters and this is a fair warning to you guys that the penalty is P100,000 to P500,000 plus imprisonment of three years to seven years or both,” she said.
