It can be recalled that September last year, the magazine “Closer” and the regional daily “La Provence” published several intimate photos of a topless Kate Middleton while on vacation. The Duchess was even shot topless having sunscreen rubbed into her behind by husband.

According to reports, Ernesto Mauro, the publisher of “Closer” and an unnamed photographer of “La Provence” were charged with invasion of privacy. Closer was the first magazine to print the photos, featuring Kate and Prince William on holiday at a private chateau in South of France.

While judges are deliberating the case, “Closer” was banned from any further publication.
