Broadcast journalists Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor will detail how a mother rescued her baby daughter by throwing her out of the window this Wednesday (April 17) in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo.”
Jobell and her daughter baby Pauleen were trapped in their room when a fire quickly spread and engulfed their house. Jobell asked for help from her neighbors outside and without hesitation threw baby Pauleen out of the window even if it was too risky. Luckily, a neighbor was able to catch the baby.
Jobell needs to undergo skin grafting surgery for the third-degree burns she acquired from the accident. A doctor found the story of how she saved her baby awe-inspiring and endorsed her to the hospital and the City of Manila, which promised to pay for her medical bills.
