Nonito Donaire, dubbed as "The Filipino Flash," lost to Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux in their super-bantanweight clash on Saturday (Sunday morning in Manila, live via satelitte on ABS-CBN) at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Guillermo Rigondeaux overpowered Donaire with a knockdown on the 10th round and dominated most of the previous rounds to win with scores of 114-113, 115-112, 116-111.

This is Donaire’s second loss in his career while Rigondeaux improves his record with 12 undefeated fights with 8 knockout victories.
