Broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna helps a 17-year old girl who was raped by her cousin while she was sleeping find legal advice tomorrow (March 21) in “Pinoy true Stories: Demandahan.”

“Sarah” woke up feeling sore and with blood in her underwear. When she saw his cousin “Eddie” naked, she already realized he raped her but did not immediately tell her parents.

Eddie, 16, took advantage of Sarah’s sleeping disorder, which makes it hard for her to sleep at night. But when she dozes off, she sleeps like a log, especially when she spent the day doing the laundry.

In the episode, Anthony expounds the Anti-Rape Law of 1997 and accompanies Sarah to Atty. Janine Banaga to know how she could take legal action against her cousin. But how will the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act affect the case? Will Eddie, a minor, be imprisoned if he is found guilty?
