American Idol season 10 runner-up Jessica Sanchez is set to be introduced on the last two episodes of Glee season 4 and her role has finally been revealed.

According to reports, the Filipino-American will play the role of “a legendary singer from a rival high school” and it will air on May 2 and May 9. Jessica’s character will serve as stiff competition to New Directions specially that Regionals and Nationals are upcoming.

Meanwhile, Catch Jessica on American Idol this Friday (Manila time) as she will perform her first single “Tonight” during the Top 9 results show. The track, which is set to be released on March 22, is a collaboration with RnB superstar Ne-Yo and will be part of Jessica’s upcoming debut album “Me, You & the Music” from Interscope Records.
