Minors Working as Guest Relations Officers Rescued

ABS-CBN reporters Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor investigates the recruitment operations of a videoke bar in Isabela that reportedly hires minors as guest relations officers (GRO) this Wednesday (March 6) in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo.”

Authorities received a report from an employee of the said bar after she was asked by its owner to travel to Manila to recruit more minors to work in the establishment as GRO. However, she decided to tip off the bar’s unlawful hiring process as she could no longer bear what was being asked of them to do.

According to operatives, some of the GRO’s were tricked into applying for the job. However, a lot of them also knew what they were getting into to earn money.

Maan and Dominic also look into the story of “Lola Marie,” whose adopted granddaughter, 16-year old Dona had gone missing for days. Little did Lola Marie know that Dona had already gone to Isabela to work as GRO after being persuaded by her friends.

Meanwhile, broadcast journalist Karen Davila looks into the clash of two househelps whose friendship was tarnished when one of them started spreading rumors about the other’s love life. Will their employers still keep them after their riotous confrontation?
