Anthony Taberna seeks legal help for a woman who was allegedly sexually harassed by a city hall employee this Thursday (Feb 28) in “Pinoy True Stories: Demandahan.”
“Maya” was securing her health sanitary permit at a city hall when a 53-year old casual employee of the Civil Registry Office approached her. When she declined his offer to take her out, he suddenly grabbed and kissed her.
The city hall employee also allegedly groped Maya’s private parts and removed her bra despite Maya’s objections. He refused to leave Maya alone and kept stalking her even on the jeepney she rode, where he kissed her again in front of other passengers. Despite her desperate pleas for help from them, the passengers turned a blind eye and refused to help her. Since then, she has been severely traumatized.
Anthony accompanies Maya to a lawyer to find out how she could press administrative and criminal charges against the city hall employee who mistreated her.
