One contestant will shine and another will fumble on the third episode of TV5's "Kanta Pilipinas" this Saturday, February 23.

Last Saturday, the second batch of “Kanta Pilipinas” top auditionees sang for the judges’ votes in their bid to enter the Top 12.

It was an interesting night as Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha and renowned songwriter Vehnee Saturno had mixed opinions about the contestants. Are they rooting for the contestants with star quality or vocal prowess?

The second batch were as follows:

Dea Formilleza, 18, Compostela Valley – “Don’t Know Why”
Adrian Tabaldo, 26, California, USA – “If I Ain’t Got You”
Haizel Fernando, 20, Makati – “California King Bed”
Zari Bilon, 18, Bacoor, Cavite – “You and I” (Lady Gaga) Isaiah Antonio, 22, Manila – “She Will Be Loved”
Allan Gonzales, 26, Quezon City – “Ikaw Lamang” (Ogie Alcasid)

This Saturday, the third batch of top auditionees will perform. One contestant will shine and one will struggle because of tonsillitis.
