TV5’s first original reality singing search Kanta Pilipinas will inspire the whole nation when it premieres this Saturday, February 9 at 9pm.

Aside from singing their hearts out, the 24 finalists will also move viewers with their life stories. With the tagline “Kanta Mo, Kwento Mo, Kapatid,” Kanta Pilipinas is hosted by the country’s most sought-after solo artist/composer/producer Rico Blanco. Two of the biggest names in the music industry – the award-winning musician, the “Maestro” Mr. Ryan Cayabyab and Asia’s Nightingale, Ms. Lani Misalucha, will serve as judges of the show.

Who among the 24 Kanta Pilipinas hopefuls will bag the grand prize of PhP1 million and a recording contract?
