Rod Stewart’s ‘Merry Christmas Baby’ Airs on Velvet

Velvet brings Rod Stewart, award-winning and two time Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, closer to homes this Christmas as it airs his first ever Christmas album composed of 13 tunes on December 27 (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m.


His album is composed of a number of A-List guests like Michael Bublé, who duets with Rod on “Winter Wonderland”, Mary J. Blige on “We Three Kings” and Cee-Lo Green with Trombone Shorty on the title tune “Merry Christmas, Baby”. Aside from Stewart’s album, Velvet has recently aired Andrew Rieu’s “Home for Christmas” which contains 26 songs recorded with his Johann Strauss Orchestra and Michael Buble’s “Christmas” which contains 15 songs featuring artists like Shania Twain, Puppini Sisters and Thalia.
