After "Amaya," GMA Network has another epicserye to hit primetime this 2013, the Bong Revilla-starrer "Indio."

GMA-7 has released the teaser trailer of their upcoming historical drama titled “Indio” topbilled by Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr.

The primetime series, which will serve as the opening salvo of GMA Network for 2013, features an ensemble cast including Sarah Lahbati, Rachelle Ann Go, Dominic Roco, Ryza Cenon, Rap Fernandez, King Gutierrez, Tom Olivar, Vaness del Moral, Pen Medina, Lucho Ayala, Robert Arevalo, Bobby Andrews, Maritoni Fernandez, Benjie Paras, Marco Alcaraz, Chinggoy Alonzo, Ramon Christopher, Fabio Ide, Jomari Yllana, Agot Isidro, Jackielou Blanco, Michael de Mesa, Polo Ravales, BJ Forbes, Rocco Nacino, among others.

Dondon Santos, the director of the Kapamilya series “Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla,” transferred to GMA Network to direct “Indio.”

Dr. Vic Villan of UP Diliman, who served as the history consultant for “Amaya,” and Dr. Rolando Borrinaga will supervise the script writers and series creator Suzette Doctolero to make sure that the story of “Indio” is based from historical facts.

The Kapuso epicserye is set to premiere on January 14, 2013.
