Magic Mike star Channing Tatum tops People Magazine's list of 185 sexiest men in the world for 2012.

The 32-year-old actor still can’t believe he deserved the title previously conferred to Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, and Hugh Jackman.

“My first thought was, ‘Y’all are messing with me,'” Channing said in an interview.

Other honorees on People’s 2012 list are country singer Blake Shelton, Thor star Chris Hemsworth, New Girl‘s Max Greenfield, Argo actor/director Ben Afleck, veteran actor Richard Gere, White Collar‘s Matt Bomer and Oscar winner Denzel Washington.
